9 Questions With Darrin Baird
1. How do you reset to be creative?
A lot of my creativity comes out of frustration to be honest. When I get frustrated with whatever else I'm supposed to be doing I take a few minutes off to work on one of my creative projects. It calms me down and brings perspective making the rest of my day more survivable.
2. What motivates you?
I'm motivated by the fun of a project. I like to learn new things as well so if I can find a project that sounds enjoyable and can teach me something I'm all over it.
3. What is the biggest challenge you face?
Time. It's hard to find or make time to work on the blog or other projects.

5. What is your favorite way to interact with viewers of your site?
I love getting comments. I ask for them on occasion to try and spur discussion.
6. Are there any adjacent industries outside your own that you actively source for inspiration?
It's all news feeds and reader suggestions for me. That's where I get my topics to write on.
7. Where do you see the future of blogs heading?
I don't see blogs changing a lot in the future. There will be a couple that are big and make money and there will be a billion personal blogs that aren't updated often and no one reads except the write.
8. What is the mission of your blog?
I just want to make people smile.
9. What makes your blog different? How can viewers leverage the content on your blog?
I feel like a content filter. I aggregate all the news that interests me and then put my perspective on the good stuff and feed it back to my readers. To change content on my site readers send their suggestions in the form or tips.
